Surviving Christmas Shopping
So many of us wait until the last minute to go Christmas shopping. It’s just how it is, whether because of laziness or lack of time, it doesn’t matter – the fact is we all end up making this mistake.
As Christmas is just around the corner, time is quickly running out to do your Christmas shopping. So, I’ve got a bunch of apps that will save you time.
To start off, you need to make a list with everything you want to buy and, of course, have a budget to make sure you stay within your means.
Long live buying and selling
This one’s a class, though not because it’s any less interesting. eBay has been around for 20 years, and it recently launched its festive corner for finding Christmas gifts to suit any budget (small gifts for £5, tech devices for £40 etc). However, there’s also Wallapop – an up and coming alternative. It’s easy to find any gift for a variety of budgets. What’s more, not everything is second-hand – there’s even products in their original packaging!
Not without my voucher
Vouchers are another Christmas classic. There’s lots you can do with vouchers, but one of their best-known uses is for unique and special experiences, such as lunches and dinners, trips away or fun days out in the country or sports recreation – not bad Christmas presents at all! Some voucher apps offer discounts on more traditional gifts as well. While there are many out there, the number 1 has to be Groupon.
Discounts on large brands and extremely well-known stores are safe options if you want to go with more traditional presents at Christmas. But it’s never a bad idea to take a risk once in a while. Etsy might be the right choice. It is an e-commerce website focused on handmade or vintage items and supplies. You’re definitely in for a surprise and between so many products there has to be something that’s within your budget.
So what are you waiting for? Let’s download the apps and start Christmas shopping now. Time is running out!
