The Children’s Commissioner for Wales are responsible for looking after the rights of children and young people in Wales. They produce a document called My Planner which is a printed booklet aimed at helping young adults plan for their time after leaving full time care.
They required a digital version of this printed document to be produced. We took all of the content from the printed document and shaped it into a reference guide, with an easy to navigate interface and a selection of regularly updated content under the heading of independent living skills.
The application featured an address book to allow quick access to user entered telephone numbers of carers and administrator updated governing bodies. It also features a budget calculator for young adults to enter their weekly outgoings.
