We’ve been working with our clients this week to upgrade and sort their App Annie accounts (where installed).

For those who don’t know, App Annie is a free service allowing to view your daily iTunes sales trends in an easier fashion than logging in through iTunes Connect.

Due to a software glitch, App Annie’s data gathering from iTunes accounts triggered Apple’s security measures and all user passwords will need resetting.

It’s a simple enough affair and, if we’re not doing it for you, please follow the instructions here .

We always recommend setting up a new user (who only has access to sales records in iTunes accounts) for use with App Annie. This is a belt and braces approach to your account’s security.

Further information on adding a new user to your iTunes connect account can be found here.

Feel free to give us a call if you’re having any difficulty with the App Annie verification process and we’ll try our best to help.
